Bustin A Move For Children's Day

Children's Day is a national holiday celebrated May 5th in Korea. Most businesses and government offices are closed and the day is spent enjoying time with children. Most people go on an outing such as a parade, zoo or park and gifts are given to children. The belief, from what I understand, is if parents and adults treat children with respect then in turn children will grown up and treat others with honor and respect. I am enjoying Miles so much and am amazed how much is growing and becoming so independent. He is such a joy and makes me laugh hysterically. I came downstairs the other day and when I called his name he did not answer. I looked at the curtain and their was a big lump moving behind it. I pulled it back and said "What are you doing?" and he had the deer in the headlight look. He had taken a whole jar of my lip gloss and was "cleaning" the window with it. It was smeared so badly I couldn't see out of it and he had used the ENTIRE jar. It was also all over his face and clothes. I just about busted a gut because he was just helping me clean. He had seen me cleaning the glass on the door to the deck the day before and just thought he would assist. Fun memories!!! He also says DIE instead of BYE so when we go on walks with the stroller he waves at people and says DIE!!! We are working hard on the "B" sound as a result HA!! Happy Children's Day!!!
