Miles is infatuated with his Pororo Penguin he got for Christmas straight from Korea!!! Pororo is a VERY popular little character in Korea and other countries who goes on adventures with his friends. He also has a set of Pororo training chopsticks which we plan to start using soon. We got our cards in the mail today from Korea. They are beautiful and so detailed. Really enjoyed our letters. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas break. Miles and Daddy have been spending lots of time together while I work a few day this week. Getting ready to enjoy another long weekend celebrating the new year!!

Merry Christmas From Across The Miles
A Wonderful Surpise came delivered to our front door all the way from Korea. It came ONE YEAR to the exact day we first saw HaeWon's sweet little face in an email from our adoption agency. Yes, God is good.
We got lovely items and a note from Miles' foster family. They have truly become our family as well. I got a beautiful jewelry box with intricate little drawers that folds up (Miles is soooo intrigued by this and played with it for long time) and I also got a cute little set of wooden dolls. Mike got a really pretty carved box and a letter opener. He will probably keep his watches in the box. We also each got book marks with one for Miles as well and little ornaments which Miles' loved hanging on the tree. Tomorrow the rest of the family will open their packages since we will be spending the day at grandma and grandpa's.
We have enjoyed corresponding with the family and look forward to new pictures and blog stories. We can't wait for them to receive their new year's package from Eastern!!!
Many Thanks to them for helping make our Christmas so Merry!!! We love everything.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Miles wishes everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. It is already Christmas in Korea as I am posting this so we hope all our friends there are having a wonderful and joyous day. We saw in the paper it was 19 degrees there today. A good day for soup and a long nap!!!
I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas!!
We woke up this morning to a beautiful covering of snow. I must say I do like a white Christmas so I hope it lasts. We are looking forward to a laid back day just the three of us (well four including Winston). We are going to play and watch Christmas shows today then go to church tonight. I am so excited to be spending our first Christmas with our son. We received a wonderful package from our Korean family (we do consider them family now!!!). We will open their gift this evening or maybe Christmas morning. We are sending their new years package so they can watch for it. We will send it to Eastern!!!! Hope everyone has a great day and a blessed Christmas. We send hugs out to all. Grandma and Grandpa Trussell are in Tuscon Arizona so hope they are having a great time. We will post other pictures later today!!!

Holiday Fun!!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebrating with family and friends. We had dinner with all of Mike's family at the farm in Tina and we had dessert with my family in Hamilton later that evening. We are so enjoying having Miles with us for all of our celebrations. The holidays are so much fun and we are going to savor the whole Christmas season. I want to remember our first Christmas and start our own family traditions. I am MUCH slower this year putting up our decorations for Christmas. We are going to put our tree up this week but it will be smaller this year and probably not as many ornaments. A certain little someone will not be able to resist all the pretty lights and breakables!!! The more fragile the better and the harder he tries to get a hold of it!!!
He is growing taller and getting a little jowl on him!! He LOVES my lip gloss and tries to rub it on his cheeks. He is saying some new words and we are understanding him better. He loves to bust a move especially since he got to see all of "Dancing With The Stars." For a boy who wanted NO Part of his bath when we first brought him home he loves it now. He is truly a joy and we are so blessed to have him. I cannot believe he is 18 months. We love you Miles and feel honored to be your parents. You are a gift from God.

Big Boy Miles!!!
This is a video from the pumpkin patch I just found out I recorded HAHA!!! We wanted to put this on our blog so HaeWon's Korea family could enjoy and see how active he is!!! We enjoy reading their blog and seeing videos of the family. Our sympathy is extended to them in the loss of beloved father and grandfather. It is so strange to think when we were in Korea how hot it was. Amazing how cold it is now both here and in Korea. I would love to go to Korea in the Fall as I hear it is the best time to visit. The G-20 Summit was just held in Seoul a few days ago. Time seems to go by so fast. Soon the holidays will be upon us. This Thanksgiving we will have so much to celebrate and I realize just how much we have to be thankful for with Miles HaeWon. He has such a funny personality. He is starting to say some words but still grunts and points a lot. When we go to Walmart or anywhere else for that matter he waves and says Hi to EVERYONE!!! He then blows kisses to the folks as we leave. He is a little hamhock!!
